Finding the right breeder is challenging. I bought my Doodle dog in Ohio and struggled to sort through all the breeder options.
I hope to make your research a little easier. In this article, I will be taking a closer look at three Newfypoo breeders in Ohio:

1. Windy Hill Dogs
Windy Hills Dogs is a breeder in Smithville known for breeding health- and genetic-tested Newfypoos, Cavapoos, and Toy Poodles.
Not much information is available on the breeders themselves or their environment.
However, according to numerous reviews, this breeder is very responsive to your questions and concerns.
Raising Puppies
This breeder gives a detailed list on their website of all the vet visits and training each litter receives.
This includes deworming, vaccination, and microchipping, with their first vet visit at six weeks old.
Training involves early neurological stimulation from day 3 to 16, introductory crate and potty training, bath exposure, blow dryers, nail trims, and ear cleaning.
It also involves socialization with other dogs and children.
How much is a puppy from Windy Hill Dogs?
Standard & Mini Newfypoos from Windy Hill Dogs are priced at $2,500 for brown and black and $3,000 for brown merle and black merle, regardless of gender.
All come with a spray and neuter contract and require a deposit of $300—the deposit locks in the puppy’s price for up to two years.
If two years pass, you are still on the waiting list, and the price of the puppies increases, you are expected to pay the new price. Shipping and delivery options are available for an additional fee.
Application & Adoption Process
Once an application is completed for this breeder, you will receive an email within 24-48 hours stating whether you have been approved or denied.
If approved, you will also receive a link to their “Master List Deposit Contract” to submit your deposit through PayPal or Venmo.
Once completed, you will be added to the Facebook group, where litter updates are regularly posted.
Each puppy will be sent home with a 1-year congenital health guarantee, a prepaid microchip through AKC Reunite, a complete record of vaccinations, a copy of the 6-week vet check report, a bag of transition food, a collar, a leash, and other possible freebies.
You can also request copies of the parents’ health/genetic testing.

2. CountryView Newfypoos
This breeder stresses that they aim to breed healthy, happy puppies that will be wonderful companions.
They stress that the breed’s health is a top priority, stating that whether you buy from them or another breeder, request health screenings and genetic testing for the parent dogs.
CountryView Newfypoos is unique from other breeders in that they only have one breeding male and one breeding female cared for in their home as pets.
Raising Puppies
CountryView Newfypoos raises all of their litters in their home so that they are accustomed to being handled by adults and children daily. Each puppy is potty trained outside with a litterbox for nighttime use.
This breeder engages in early neurological stimulation and exposes the puppies to everyday household noises like the vacuum, TV, doorbell, and more.
Once the puppies reach 4-5 weeks of age, they are introduced to crate training slowly.
How much is a puppy from CountryView Newfypoos?
Though this breeder prefers not to publish their prices on their website or other sources, they state that the price is generally less than that of other breeders.
They do require a non-refundable deposit of an undisclosed amount. However, the timeframe in which that deposit must be paid can be discussed with the breeder during a phone call.
Application & Adoption Process
To complete an application for a puppy from CountryView Newfypoos, you must first reach out to them via their email.
A copy of the adoption agreement can be found in full on their website, which includes information on the responsibilities of both the breeder and the buyer as well as a spay/neuter contract.
This breeder does not ship their puppies or offer delivery services.
Each puppy comes with the following items:

Hackney Hills is a small in-home breeder dedicated to producing well-rounded puppies. They currently breed Standard Poodles and Doodle breeds.
There is not much information to be found online about the specifics of their program. However, they have an active Facebook page that provides up-to-date information on their litters.
Raising Puppies
Though they do not list their regime online, they state that their litters are all raised within their home with help from their children.
You can be assured that each puppy will be comfortable around everyday sights and sounds.
Hackney Hills Poodles & Doodles owner works at a K9 training academy in the area, meaning that each litter will have received at least the basic care and training for their age.
