1. Utah Teddy Bear Doodles

Crimson red and white decorative banner with a Sheepadoodle dog and text saying "Utah Teddy Bear Doodles".

Utah Teddy Bear Doodles is located in Utah and provides multiple shipping options if you cannot pick up your pup. Their goal is to produce top-quality pups for people all over the world.

The breeders not only focus heavily on good breeding practices but also take the time to train their pups from the earliest age to ensure that they are good family dogs.

Raising Puppies

Utah Teddy Bear Doodles focus on providing smart and family-friendly dogs to their buyers. The dogs are well-socialized and can be trained early on for an additional price.

The pups are given plenty of attention and will stay with the mother in their home until eight weeks.

Price

A puppy from the breeders will cost a deposit of $500 and $3,000 for a standard Sheepadoodle. However, they also have Mini Sheepadoodles, which start at $3,500.

If you want a merle colored Sheepadoodle, then you will need to pay an extra fee of $500 due to the rare coat.

The only other price you can budget for is shipping. If you can come to pick up your puppy, then you won’t have to pay for the shipping fee.

However, you can get a flight nanny service that costs anywhere from $500 to $900.

The deposit is non-refundable, and if you can’t pick up your puppy at eight weeks, you will be charged a $35 per day fee to board the Sheepadoodle.

On top of that, you can also purchase their puppy training program for $650 per week.

Application and Adoption Process

To get a Sheepadoodle from this breeder, you must head to their website and fill out a puppy adoption application.

This application covers some general questions used by the breeder to help see if you’re a good fit for a dog and vice versa. If approved, you will be required to provide $500.

Once the puppies are born, and you go to pick up the pup, you will be expected to pay the rest of the cost. You can wait for the next litter if you don’t see any puppies you want.

After eight weeks, you can either pick up the pup or hire a flight nanny. If using a flight nanny, the fee will vary depending on the flight length, etc.

Guarantee

The breeders express that the puppies come with vaccination records, a one-year health guarantee, and a schedule for the puppy detailing the food and training.

They genetically test the parent dogs to ensure that only good genetics are used for the pups.

Aside from that, the puppies go through deworming and get all their pup vaccinations which will be administered at six weeks of age.

All information will be provided on printed-out paper when you pick up the pup. If you can’t keep your dog for whatever reason, the breeder will take the puppy back.

2. Mountain Rose Sheepadoodles

Crimson red and white decorative banner with a Sheepadoodle dog and text saying "Mountain Rose Sheepadoodles".

Mountain Rose Sheepadoodles are located in Northern Utah and plan to provide pups to people worldwide.

Richard and Becky Poppe founded the small business, but their children now co-owned the company. They have a long history of breeding and providing top-quality Doodle dogs.

Raising Puppies

The breeders pride themselves in how they treat their puppies. They implement daily routines and provide their pups with lots of love and affection, including physical affection.

They are also exposed to other animals and people so that they can adapt to a social environment.

They even go as far as to expose their dogs to classical and country music and various sounds via a Sound-Proof Puppy Training App. This can help ease the pup’s anxiety and help it get used to all sorts of sounds from a young age.

Mountain Rose also does a Puppy Aptitude Test on each pup once they are six weeks of age. This can help match their temperaments to their owners.

That way, you can get a pup that works well with you and your family.

Price

Sheepadoodle puppies are always $3,500 regardless of size, color, or gender. So, if you want a particular type of Sheepadoodle, you won’t have to worry about budgeting more for rare coat types.

The puppies do require a deposit, which is $500.

Application and Adoption Process

You must apply via their puppy application to get a pup from Mountain Rose Sheepadoodles. Unfortunately, they have very strict guidelines on who can get a pup.

This includes applicants having a fenced yard, a suitable living environment that can accommodate big dogs, and enough time to tend to the dog.

Once approved, you will be able to give a deposit for the pup. At eight weeks, you can then either pick up your puppy in person or you can choose to get it delivered via flight nanny for an extra fee.

Guarantee

Unlike other breeders, Mountain Rose provides a 10-year health guarantee.

This is because their pups are focused on heredity and genetics. So, they take the necessary steps to help ensure all of the puppies are in good health and are free of risks from lifelong diseases.

All parents are bloodline checked, and they do a DNA test for the parent dogs. They also provide OFA testing on their hips and joints, which can help predict if the pups will have any problems down the line.

Mountain Rose Sheepadoodles Reviews

“We absolutely LOVE our “Dilly”. She’s smart, loving, energetic, and oh-so-eager to please! Her coat is thick and rich, yet she doesn’t shed or get tangles.

She is healthy and is on target to fall precisely in the middle of your estimated weight range. All in all she is perfect and we love her. Thank you for the perfect dog!”

Jernigan family

“Very knowledgeable staff. They really care and built an outstanding lineage of the breed.  We adopted a puppy last year and in a few years we’ll adopt another.

Highly recommend this breed to active adults.  Our Abbie is a favorite at the dog park, loved by all — especially us! . My husband and I absolutely adore our girl. She’s as smart as she is beautiful. We’re very happy with Mountain Rose.”

Utah Wiggle Bottoms Reviews

“One of the most ethical and knowledgable breeders you can find. There is no doubt that a puppy from them or one that had her hand in the process will be one of the best Sheepadoodles you’ll find!

I recommend her if you are in the market for these big teddy bears.”

Ian R.

“I did a lot of research about this breed and the local breeders before purchasing my Sheepadoodle and I am so glad I did!

The thing that stood out to me the most about Utah Wiggle Bottoms was how they raise them in home and raise them around household noises and children and other such things so they are familiarized with them . . .

My Harley is the sweetest and most loving and probably the smartest dog I have had! I cannot recommend this program enough they are amazing!”
