State of Colorado with text below saying "Newfypoo breeders in colorado" with purple and light grey colors.

Thinking about adopting a Newfypoo in Colorado but not sure where to start? I’ve got you covered!

While I’m already convinced that these Gentle Giants are some of the cutest pups around, they’re not yet as popular as their other doodle counterparts.

This will likely change as Newfypoos gain recognition for their sweet and playful temperament, but for now this means dedicated breeder options are limited and can be challenging to find.

Don’t worry. All hope is not lost!

I’ve put together an article that will introduce you to the Centennial State’s top Newfypoo breeder and point you a little farther afield to reputable breeders in nearby states.

So, settle in and get to know the breeders behind:

  • Rocky Mountain Newfypoos
  • The Doodle Tribe
  • Crockett Doodles

Read on to learn more about these exceptional breeders and their adorable Newfypoos.

A dog with the words "rocky mountain newfypoos".

Rocky Mountain Newfypoos isn’t your typical dog breeder.

What sets this breeder apart is their focus on puppy rearing and imprinting. After graduating from Rocky Mountain Newfypoos’ special training programs, you can be sure your pup will grow into a well-adjusted and well-behaved pet at home!

Raising Puppies

Puppies in the care of Rocky Mountain Newfypoos live the good life.

The puppies start in a nursery with all the essential features needed to keep them happy and healthy, like regular grooming, neurological stimulation, and socialization practices to ensure they mature into a confident and friendly family member.

Once the puppies are old enough, they can run freely around the outdoor play area and engage in basic or advanced obedience training.

This keeps your growing pup stimulated and guarantees they will be a well-behaved companion.

How much is a puppy from Rocky Mountain Newfypoos?

The price for each Newfypoo pup expertly raised by Rocky Mountain Newfypoo starts at $2,400. In addition to this base fee, you will also be required to pay a $250 deposit.

Aside from the cost of adoption, there may be other expenses to consider: Rocky Mountain Newfypoos offers a special delivery service by car and plane using vetted Pet Drivers and Flight Nannies.

Delivery prices for a pet driver and a flight nanny are variable, so you must contact the driver or nanny directly to determine costs.

Remember that opting to have your puppy delivered to you by plane requires you to pay for the flight nanny’s ticket, the flight nanny’s personal fee, and the airline’s pet fee.

Application & Adoption Process

The process of adopting a puppy from Rocky Mountain Newfypoos begins by filling out an application form that can be found on their website.

The application requires your contact information and allows you to specify the gender and size desired. You can also note any additional qualities you wish to see in your Newfypoo pup, such as coloring.

Once the application has been completed, you must pay the $250 non-refundable deposit.

After submitting your application and deposit, you will be added to a waitlist. This breeder notes that wait times can be unpredictable and may be longer for those who would like their puppy to feature specific characteristics.

Once a pup that meets your specifications has been born, Rocky Mountain Newfypoos will contact you to finalize the adoption process and coordinate pick-up or delivery.

This breeder will watch over your pup for eight weeks, at which point you can welcome them into your family!

Health Guarantee

Rocky Mountain Newfypoos offers a one-year health guarantee for their puppies. They also provide lifetime support to all their customers.

Everyone always asks how she is such a good dog and we always tell them about puppy camp with Sandra. If we ever decide to add another puppy to our family we will definitely use her again!”

“We’ve used Sandra twice, and our pups are amazing. We do work with a local trainer, but the foundation they got with Sandra was terrific. Plus she’s a lovely person.”

The Tribe takes extra steps to ensure their puppies grow into confident dogs that thrive in new environments. Exposing the pups to different sights and sounds as they grow provides an easy transition into your home.

Adopting a pup from The Doodle Tribe means you’ll gain a minimally-shedding, playful, and even-tempered companion that could quickly act as a service or therapy dog.

Raising Puppies

Puppies born into The Tribe grow up in nurseries that provide a comfortable and safe environment perfect for learning, playing, and socializing.

To kick start the learning process, these puppies get a jump-start on training: as soon as they can move, they’re introduced to crate and potty training.

In addition to training, the breeders create a routine for the puppies that includes various opportunities for playing, exploring, resting, and interacting with people and their fellow litter mates.

How much is a puppy from The Doodle Tribe?

The Doodle Tribe doesn’t publicly list prices for their Newfypoo puppies. However, they note that interested buyers must pay a $300 deposit plus tax to reserve their Newfypoo.

In addition to the adoption cost, you’ll want to keep delivery costs in mind. Delivery starts at $500. The Doodle Tribe also offers a boarding service if you can’t pick up your puppy on the designated date. The Tribe will watch over your puppy for $20 per day.

Once you feel ready to commit, you will pay a deposit and secure your spot on their waiting list. After booking your spot, you will continue working with the adoption specialist to determine what qualities you’re looking for in your Newfypoo puppy so that they can match you with your perfect pup once they come along.

If you need more time to visit the location, no worries! Crockett Doodles also offers the option of delivering your precious puppy right to your doorstep, making the process even more convenient.

Raising Puppies

At Crockett Doodles, the breeders have a particular preference for using family-owned pets as parent dogs. This approach ensures the puppies have a strong foundation in a loving home environment.

Selecting parent dogs with clean health records is a top priority, as it dramatically reduces the risk of passing on congenital health issues to their offspring.

After the Newfypoo puppies are born, they spend their early days in designated Guardian Homes. These nurturing environments play a vital role in the puppies’ development, providing a positive and caring atmosphere for them to thrive.

Crockett Doodles ensures their future families receive well-adjusted and joyful companions by fostering healthy and happy puppies in these loving homes.

At Crockett Doodles, the pricing for Newfypoo puppies ranges from $1,400 to $2,100. However, certain qualities come with additional costs.

For instance, if you desire a Newfypoo with a wavy or curly coat, you’ll need to add $200 to the base price. Puppies with unique colors like chocolate, parti-coloring, or tri-coloring come at an extra charge of $300.

If you inform them at least 72 hours before adoption day, there is a $100 fee. If it’s within 24 to 72 hours before adoption day, the fee increases to $200. Finally, if you give notice within 24 hours of adoption day, the cost goes up to $300.

Application & Adoption Process

Please note that the waiting list may take some time, possibly stretching over several months. However, once a new litter is born, the buyers at the top of the waiting list will receive an exciting Puppy Announcement email!

When you receive the email, respond with your desired qualities in your Newfypoo pup. The Crockett team will then start matching the puppies with the priority buyers.

If you’re among the lucky ones, you’ll receive another email confirming that you’ve been matched with a furry companion.

With all the steps completed, it’s time for the final decision. You can pick up your adorable pup from Crockett Doodles or opt for the convenience of having your new furry friend delivered to your home.

Health Guarantee

Crockett Doodles recommends taking your new puppy to a licensed veterinarian for a well-check within seven days of bringing them home.

Schelle M.

“We had the best experience with Crockett Doodles! The family that cared for our pup for the first 8 weeks took such great care of her, and as is the Crockett Doodle way, they already had potty and crate training going when we adopted.

She has been a dream of a dog and I really feel that is in part to the day Crockett Doodles handles their pups. I will definitely recommend them over and over again to anyone looking to adopt a doodle!”
