About Deb’s Doodles

Deb’s Doodles is a breeder in Northern Virginia specializing in Goldendoodle, Sheepadoodle, and Bernedoodle puppies.

One of the things that drew me to Deb’s Doodles is their commitment to treating their puppies like family members. They ensure the puppies are whelped and raised in their home until they are four weeks old.

After this time, the puppies are transferred to a kennel with a dog run and are cared for every four hours during the day. This level of attention and care truly sets them apart from other breeders.

Moreover, I found numerous positive testimonials from happy customers sharing their experiences with Deb’s Doodles.

These reviews highlighted the dogs’ loving, snuggly, and loyal nature and their compatibility with families and children. This strong bond between the dogs and their owners speaks to the excellent upbringing and socialization provided by Deb’s Doodles.

In addition to the stellar reviews, Deb’s Doodles is listed as a recommended breeder on various dog websites, further cementing their reputation for providing healthy and well-adjusted puppies.

This recognition in the dog breeding community certainly adds to their credibility and reassures potential buyers about the quality of puppies they can expect from Deb’s Doodles.

Breeding and Care Standards

As a Doodle dog owner, I know firsthand the importance of a breeder’s health and care standards. I wanted to take a deeper look at Deb’s Doodle’s standards to ensure the well-being of their puppies. Here’s what I found:

Health Screening

Deb’s Doodles takes health screening very seriously. They provide a two-year health warranty for each puppy, ensuring they are free from issues like hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, and other congenital or genetic problems.

Vaccination and Deworming

Before sending the puppies to their new homes, Deb’s Doodles ensures proper vaccination and deworming.

Puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations, as well as necessary preventative measures against parasites. This ensures a healthy start for the puppies in their new homes.

Grooming and Cleanliness

At Deb’s Doodles, cleanliness and hygiene are prioritized in their puppy rearing process. They maintain a clean environment for the puppies and their parents to ensure their dogs are well-groomed and free from any health risks.

Moreover, they educate new owners on the importance of grooming, as Doodles have a low-shedding coat that requires regular brushing and maintenance to prevent matting and maintain cleanliness.

How much are puppies from Deb’s Doodles?

The price of a puppy from Deb’s Doodle depends on the breed, size, and color. For a standard Goldendoodle, you can expect to pay $3,000. Bernedoodles and Sheepadoodles cost a little bit more.

Areas For Improvement

While most reviews about Deb’s Doodles have been positive, there’s always room for improvement in any breeding program.

One area to consider is communication, ensuring prospective clients are informed about litter schedules and their position on waiting lists.

Additionally, as Deb’s Doodles continues to grow its reputation, it is essential to maintain transparency with clients.

A few ways to achieve this are keeping the website current and actively sharing information about their breeding practices, genetic testing, and health care protocols for their parent dogs and puppies.

Is Deb’s Doodles a puppy mill?

No, I found no evidence that Deb’s Doodles is a puppy mill.

When looking into whether or not Deb’s Doodles could be considered a puppy mill, I investigated their website and customer feedback.

As someone who cares deeply about the well-being of animals, I cannot stress enough how much I wanted to ensure that the puppies offered by Deb’s Doodles were raised with love and proper care.

Can you trust Deb’s Doodles?

It was evident from the information on their website that they prioritize raising healthy and happy dogs, prioritizing their well-being above all else.

They provide detailed information about their puppy care and adoption procedures, which show that they are committed to finding suitable homes for their puppies.

Deb’s Doodles can ensure they place their puppies in loving, forever homes by being strict about who can adopt a puppy.

Another critical aspect I considered was the experiences of other customers. Their testimonials page is filled with glowing reviews from happy families who have adopted their fur babies from Deb’s Doodles.

Countless positive reviews help reinforce my opinion that Deb’s Doodles is a reputable breeder.

These testimonials show that these dog lovers had a fantastic experience with the breeder and are over the moon with their healthy, well-adjusted puppies.

  1. You are so wrong about Deb’s Doodle’s. She is running a puppy mill. If you really look at her website (not just testimonials they asked customers to write) you will notice she has over 40 dogs. That’s 40 dogs living in a kennel environment not a home. Puppies are whelped and raised in the kennel, along with up to 6 litters at a time. Go back over her website and videos you can count back how many times and how frequently she breeds her dogs. I worked for Deb and I quit because she bred a 11 month old poodle (Mariah) with a Bernese mountain dog. It’s cruel, and inhumane the way these dogs live.

    1. Gina, your input and insights are greatly appreciated. I hope that future readers of this post will take your comment into account and use it to make informed decisions about supporting Deb’s Doodles. Thank you for your comment and for bringing attention to this important issue.
