Miles had been a stray for an entire year.
A kind person spotted him and tried to rescue him.
But Miles, frightened and cautious, ran away.
The rescuer tried for hours to catch him, but was unsuccessful.
The rescuer then enlisted the help of a trapper named Danny and a friend named Megan.
Together, they devised a plan to lure Miles into a dog park with hot dogs.
The plan worked, and they were able to get a leash on Miles, who was still very scared.
After his rescue, Miles was taken to a doggy daycare to decompress.
From there, he went to a foster home.
In the foster home, Miles transformed into a happy and comfortable dog.
He enjoyed being around people.
