1. Sheepie Doodle Acres
With an adorable name like Sheepie Doodle Acres, we already love this breeder’s style. As a Minnesota licensed breeder, they have a trust-worthy reputation that’s backed by the state.
If you want a high-quality pup from a high-quality breeder, Sheepie Doodle Acres is a great option.
Raising Puppies
Puppies are whelped in their puppy nursery and cared for by mom for the first four weeks.
After the puppies have been weaned, they move on to the puppy playroom where they’ll spend most of their time growing and developing out of the newborn stage.
At seven weeks, puppies receive a microchip. They’re also properly vaccinated.
Once puppies are roughly six weeks old, they begin crate training.
Although they probably won’t be fully crate trained before they go home, they will have a basic understanding of being in a crate. They also experience litter training with pine bedding and alfalfa pellets.
How much is a puppy from Sheepie Doodle Acres?
Puppies require a $700 deposit to reserve them on a waitlist. This counts towards the overall cost of the puppy.
This breeder determines price based on size:
- Standard Sheepadoodles are $2,300
- Mini Sheepadoodles are $2,500
- Micro Sheepadoodles are $2,700
These prices remain the same regardless of gender, markings, or colorings.
Shipping / Transportation Costs
If you live out of state, the cost of the puppy will increase depending on the transportation fees.
If you want them to ship the puppy to you with a puppy nanny before he or she reaches 8-10 weeks of age, you will pay $1,500 – $2,500.
After the puppy is eight weeks old, flights will cost $450-$550 more if the puppy is shipped before they turn ten weeks old.
Older puppies will have higher price points for travel. The shipping price covers costs for air travel and a puppy nanny hand-delivering the puppy to you at the baggage claim area.
Application & Adoption Process
Once you fill out an application online, you’ll text the breeder or message them on their Facebook page to let them know you are ready to make a deposit.
After that, the breeder will approve the application and you can provide the $700 deposit.
Then, they will put you on a master list that indicates the breed and size you want. Once your spot on the waitlist comes up in the litter cycles, you will be contacted to choose a puppy.
From there, you can pick your puppy out of a professional photo reel and video call to help with your selection. You will not be able to pick a puppy in-person for the health and safety of the puppies.
After you have selected a puppy, you can make arrangements to pick up the puppy yourself or have the puppy transported.
When you pick up your puppy, you can expect to pay the remainder of the costs upon pick-up.
Health Guarantee
For congenital conditions, they give their puppies a 1-year health guarantee.
Sheepie Doodle Acres Reviews
“Angela was amazing to work with. She was so patient with all of my questions. As a first time puppy owner I was happy with all of the advice and information that Angela included in the process.
We have loved our little pup and would recommend Sheepie Doodle Acres to anyone looking for a sweet tempered puppy to add to their family.
Our puppy came home at 8 weeks, he slept in his crate the first night. He knew how to do his business outside and rarely had accidents, he used a litter box when inside. He was well socialized and just a lover of people from the moment we got him.”

Country Roads Sheepdogs and Doodles Reviews
“Archer, our Mini Sheepadoodle from Country Roads, just turned 6 months and weighs in at 21 pounds currently. We loved all the characteristics of this Doodle mix.
The sweet, gentle heart of the Old English Sheepdog in a smaller package with the smarts from his Poodle heritage. He does not shed which is a huge plus! And, has been in perfect health.
Stephanie does a great job working with the pups, and had started potty and crate training before we picked him up. Hope more people can discover this special Doodle mix!”

“Miley has been an incredible puppy! So easy to train and trustworthy from the start. She has always been playful and fun but also a very chill puppy compared to normal puppy craziness.
